The RTI Club members thought that they should use their free time in the summer vacation in a beneficial way, so they believed that a course would be suitable. And they came up with the subject of media.

Mothers Day in Palestine
In Palestine, Mother's Day is celebrated on the first day of spring, and to honor the many mothers in the Bethlehem community Holy Land Trust's (HLT) Remember the Innocents (RTI) youth club organized visits to three different locations in Bethlehem.
RTI Club organizes a family Ramadan breaking of the fast at Bethlehem Hotel
The Remember the Innocents children's club organized a breaking of the Ramadan fast (Eftar) on November 5th, 2003 at the Bethlehem Hotel to celebrate the month of Ramadan. Celebrating this day as Christians and Muslims: one people with one aim. The Christian members, to show their respect for the Muslim observance, fasted for the day alongside their Muslims friends and neighbors.
A Day in the Sun for Bethlehem's Children
Just before Easter, the RTI club organized an all day picnic for 100 Palestinian youth. The day of games and leisurely activities was much needed and couldn't have come at a better time. Palestinian children and young adults today face many pressures, and the event was a chance for them to relax, socialize through games and escape from the difficulties and challenges they face in their day-to-day lives.
International Day of the Palestinian Child
On April 5th the RTI club organized an event for Palestinian children in the Bethlehem Peace Center to celebrate the international day of the Palestinian child. The two hour event included dancing, music, poetry readings, speeches and music performances. The entire program was aired on a local Palestinian TV station.
