Though I cry I've been wronged, I get no response; though I call for help, there is no justice.

Imagine walking to school each day passing huge army tanks that fired shells into your neighborhood the night before.
Imagine sitting in your classroom and having fully armed soldiers storm into the room to drag your classmates away.
Imagine wanting to visit your friends and family in the next town, but being unable to because the roads are blocked with cement barricades and armed soldiers.

My eyes fail from weeping, I am in torment within, my heart is poured out on the ground because my people are destroyed, because children and infants faint in the streets of the city.
Lamentations 2:11

These things are difficult to imagine. No one wants to live with such things. But each day children, who live in a small area of the world called Palestine, experience these things.
Postcards from Palestine, is part of a campaign to get the voice of Palestinian children heard. Palestinian children will be encouraged to write their dreams, wishes and messages on postcards that will be collected and sent to the United States where reactions will be added by American children. When the postcards are complete they will be delivered to the White House. We hope to have as many as one million postcards!
The goal of this activity is to send an accurate message to the world and to introduce and promote non-violent resistance in Palestine.
